The Bedroom Window. For several years I searched for someone that could make a new window for me. This was a difficult task and not possible for the average contractor. The window is over 100 years old and the wood used is thicker than what you can find today. Along the sides runs a metal track that must fit perfectly with the outer frame track. The old track needed to be reused in the new window. No one would touch it. A few weeks ago I found a man of Amish persuasion to build what was needed. I picked up the new window this week. It is beautiful! The man known as Chris Kurtz is a true master wood worker. I honor him and express eternal gratitude for the service he provides. I sure hope he has an apprentice! Anyway....when I get up in the wee hours of the morning to view the full moon. I will think of him with a full heart.
